aws.autoscaling.getAmiIds
Explore with Pulumi AI
The Autoscaling Groups data source allows access to the list of AWS ASGs within a specific region. This will allow you to pass a list of AutoScaling Groups to other resources.
Example Usage
import * as pulumi from "@pulumi/pulumi";
import * as aws from "@pulumi/aws";
const groups = aws.autoscaling.getAmiIds({
    filters: [
        {
            name: "tag:Team",
            values: ["Pets"],
        },
        {
            name: "tag-key",
            values: ["Environment"],
        },
    ],
});
const slackNotifications = new aws.autoscaling.Notification("slack_notifications", {
    groupNames: groups.then(groups => groups.names),
    notifications: [
        "autoscaling:EC2_INSTANCE_LAUNCH",
        "autoscaling:EC2_INSTANCE_TERMINATE",
        "autoscaling:EC2_INSTANCE_LAUNCH_ERROR",
        "autoscaling:EC2_INSTANCE_TERMINATE_ERROR",

Two invocation forms are available. The direct form accepts plain arguments and either blocks until the result value is available, or returns a Promise-wrapped result. The output form accepts Input-wrapped arguments and returns an Output-wrapped result.
